Words won’t do any justice to the stunning spectacle that was Alina + Jon’s wedding. So here is a glimpse at the beauty and wonder that was their Indian wedding. Held in the city of Kolkata, friends and family from all over the world flew in to celebrate this special couple. Once the dust had settled on Jon and Alina’s gorgeous wedding ceremony and reception we headed out a couple of days later at the crack of dawn to Kolkata’s famous flower market, which to be honest was one of the maddest places I’ve ever done a shoot…. This was followed by the the relative serenity of the grounds of the Victoria Memorial.
This is the second time that I have photographed a wedding in India, but I think the 4th or 5th time visiting. It is a country that I absolutely love to travel to and cannot recommend it enough. The only way to describe it is a sensory explosion. I would spend hours walking the streets of whichever town I may be in, or stop to watch a day of cricket or sample the many magnificent restaurants.
